This Taonga named Mana Wheku. Made from an exquisite italian Travertine kohatu, this Taonga really speaks for itself and is a certain show piece unlike anything else. To complete this ataahua taonga, it is adorned with a thick brown cord lashing to ensure its wearer is comfortable when wearing such a powerful and large Tahei and to finish it we have carefully inlayed paua in the eyes.

Our contemporary Tahei or Pendants can represent many different things depending on the shape, size, and creative insight when carved. For the most part, we leave it up our customers to determine for themselves what it represents. We like to do things differently, and that is why some of our Taonga are unique to us.
